Minjee Lee is gearing up for the women’s golf competition at the Paris Olympics and aims to gain momentum at the CPKC Women’s Open. This is Lee’s eighth appearance at the event, with her best finish being a tie for fourth in 2018. In the 2024 LPGA Tour season, Lee has had a steady year despite missing four cuts, a career-high for her since joining the Tour in 2015. She has achieved four top-15 finishes, including a tie for fourth at the Blue Bay LPGA and a tie for ninth at the U.S. Women’s Open. Statistically, Lee leads in strokes gained approach (+1.76) and is second in strokes gained tee to green (+1.72). She is also ranked third in overall proximity to the hole, fourth in proximity from 125-150 yards, and 16th in greens in regulation (71.08%).
Allisen Corpuz is participating in the CPKC Women’s Open for the third straight year. She aims to build on her previous performances, finishing tied for 26th in 2022 and tied for 17th last year. This season, Corpuz has been consistent, missing only two cuts and securing five top-20 finishes in 14 tournaments.
