How bad will the growing pains be for Ward?
Ward will inevitably experience some ups and downs in his first NFL season. Succeeding as a rookie quarterback with a team that was one of the worst in the league the year before is a huge challenge, but Jayden Daniels proved last season that it can be done.
There are plenty of reasons Ward was the consensus top quarterback prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft. The former Miami star threw for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdown passes and just seven interceptions last season. His strong arm and quick release should serve him well professionally.
The big question is whether the Titans have surrounded Ward with enough pieces to make his life easy, which leads to the next question.
