Bradford City manager Michael Duff has explained his approach to changes within the coaching staff, insisting that building trust, maintaining continuity and improving the team’s performance remain his priorities.
The 48-year-old took charge at Valley Parade following Graham Alexander’s departure to Preston North End. Rather than immediately overhaul the club’s established methods, Duff is determined to build on the foundations already in place.
Duff has highlighted the importance of Mark Trueman and Colin Doyle, who have played significant roles in understanding the players and helping the new management team settle in. He also values the contribution of assistant Alex Morris as they assess areas requiring improvement.
The Bantams have demonstrated defensive strength but need to become more productive in attack. Duff intends to introduce tactical adjustments gradually while preserving the team’s identity and work ethic.
His approach reflects a desire to modernise Bradford City without disrupting their momentum as they pursue promotion to the Championship.
