West Ham United have agreed personal terms with Celtic midfielder Arne Engels as they continue negotiations over a potential move for the Belgium international.
The 22-year-old has emerged as a priority target for West Ham as manager Nuno Espírito Santo looks to strengthen his squad following the club’s relegation to the Championship.
Engels has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Hammers, but negotiations between the two clubs are still ongoing. West Ham must now reach an agreement with Celtic over the transfer fee before the midfielder can complete his move.
Celtic have previously valued Engels at around £25 million, while West Ham are believed to be willing to push their overall package towards £30 million, potentially including add-ons and bonuses.
