Derby County supporters have been given fresh reason for excitement after loan forward Dajaune Brown hinted at his desire to return to Pride Park following his temporary move to Port Vale.
Brown joined Port Vale on loan on 27 August 2025, with the deal scheduled to run until 31 May 2026. Despite focusing on his development away from Derby, the young attacker has made it clear that his long-term future remains close to his heart.
Speaking recently, Brown expressed his affection for his parent club, saying he “can’t wait to return” and describing Derby as “home.” His comments have quickly caught the attention of Rams supporters, many of whom continue to follow his progress closely.
The striker has been working to gain valuable first-team experience during his loan spell, using the opportunity to sharpen his game and prove his readiness for Championship football. While there has been no official indication of an early recall, his remarks are likely to fuel speculation about what role he could play at Derby next season.
For now, Brown remains committed to his loan responsibilities at Port Vale. But if his words are anything to go by, a return to Pride Park is firmly on his mind.
