Christian Nørgaard has revealed that a return to Norway’s Eliteserien remains one of his biggest career ambitions despite enjoying success with Arsenal. The experienced midfielder admitted that while lifting trophies in England has been a dream fulfilled, finishing his career back home is now his top priority.
“I’ve won with Arsenal, but coming home is my priority. I want to give something back to Norwegian football,” Nørgaard said.
His comments sparked excitement across Norway after compatriots Martin Ødegaard and Erling Haaland also spoke about their long-term plans. Ødegaard hinted that one day he hopes to return to Strømsgodset, the club where his remarkable journey began, while Haaland reiterated his desire to wear the colours of Bryne once again before retirement.
The trio’s commitment to returning home has thrilled supporters, who now dream of seeing some of Norway’s greatest modern stars grace the Eliteserien together before hanging up their boots.
