Bayern Munich Rejected Again! Nick Woltemade’s Agent Slams Stuttgart Over ‘Completely Unfounded’ €60m Snub….
August 14, 2025 — Munich, Germany
Bayern Munich have been dealt another transfer blow as VfB Stuttgart have again rejected a substantial €60 million bid for rising star Nick Woltemade. The 23-year-old forward, who has been one of the Bundesliga’s breakout performers in the past season, remains firmly on Stuttgart’s books—despite mounting pressure from Germany’s top clubs.
Bayern’s latest approach, reportedly a structured deal worth up to €60m with bonuses, was flatly turned down by Stuttgart’s board earlier this week. The rejection prompted a fiery response from Woltemade’s agent, Marco Riether, who criticized Stuttgart’s stance as “completely unfounded and professionally questionable.”
“Nick has shown incredible loyalty and growth at Stuttgart,” Riether told Kicker. “The offer on the table reflects both his value and Bayern’s serious intent. Rejecting it without proper consideration is not just disrespectful to the player but also suggests a lack of vision.”
Woltemade, who joined Stuttgart from Werder Bremen in 2023, scored 16 goals and provided 9 assists last season, helping the club qualify for European competition. His current contract runs until 2027, with no known release clause—leaving Stuttgart in full control of negotiations.
Sources close to Bayern suggest the club is still hopeful of striking a deal before the transfer window closes, but patience is wearing thin. With Harry Kane’s future uncertain and Bayern seeking long-term attacking options, the club views Woltemade as a critical part of their rebuild.
Stuttgart, for now, are standing firm. Sporting Director Fabian Wohlgemuth reiterated earlier this week: “Nick is not for sale. He is central to our ambitions.”
But with tempers flaring and the window ticking down, this saga may be far from over.
