Celtic Tensions Explode: Green Brigade Break Silence as Stuttgart Fans Back Banned Ultras

The Green Brigade have stated that there has been no breakthrough in efforts to restore their access to Celtic Park. The ultras group has been barred from all Celtic FC matches since early November following an incident during a Premiership fixture against Falkirk FC.
Supporters, including the influential Celtic Fans Collective, have continued to demand that the suspension be lifted, staging protests against the club’s board with chants and banners. Interim chairman Brian Wilson has twice appealed for “unity” at Parkhead as he attempts to ease tensions that have troubled Glasgow’s east end throughout a difficult campaign.
It is understood that Wilson recently met with representatives of the Celtic Fans Collective in a bid to resolve several ongoing disputes within the club. However, unrest continued as protesters threw tennis balls onto the pitch during the match against VfB Stuttgart, briefly stopping play just seconds into their 4–1 victory.
Stuttgart supporters also showed their backing by unveiling a banner in the away section reading “End the bans – freedom for Ultras.”
In a statement shared on social media, the Green Brigade confirmed there has been no progress, noting that around 250 fans have now been banned for 24 matches, with no clear resolution or justification provided.
