JUST IN: Dan Cassey has made a Big Decision Ahead of CRYSTAL PALACE & NORWICH CITY
It’s been a whirlwind few months. Being out of contract hasn’t been easy—footballers don’t talk enough about the quiet moments, the self-doubt, and the constant grind to stay sharp without a team shirt on your back. But I’m grateful for every challenge. It reminds me why I fell in love with the game at Hale End all those years ago.
Now, I’m at a crossroads. Both Crystal Palace and Norwich City have shown strong interest. Palace offers Premier League football and a chance to stay in London, close to family. Norwich, on the other hand, has a clear plan, a manager who believes in my development, and the promise of consistent minutes in a system that suits me.
I’ve spoken with both clubs, taken in their vision, and now it’s about choosing the right fit—not just for my career, but for who I am as a player and a person. At 26, I know this move could define the next stage of my journey.
To every young baller out there: patience, persistence, and belief. That’s what’s kept me going. I’ll make my decision soon—and when I do, I’ll give it everything.
