Solihull Moors have completed the signing of promising young midfielder Isaac Moore on a short-term loan deal from Championship leaders Coventry City. The agreement will initially run for 28 days, giving Moore the opportunity to gain further first-team experience at National League level.
The 19-year-old began the current campaign on loan at fellow National League side Forest Green Rovers, where he featured regularly during the first half of the season. During his spell there, Moore made 23 appearances in all competitions and found the net in both league action and in the FA Trophy, underlining his ability to contribute offensively from midfield.
A product of Coventry City’s academy system, Moore is regarded as a bright prospect for the future. Although he has yet to make his senior debut for the Sky Blues, he was named in four Championship matchday squads last season, highlighting how highly he is rated within the club setup.
Solihull Moors manager Chris Millington explained that Moore first caught his attention while preparing to face Forest Green earlier in the season. Speaking to the club’s official website, Millington said the midfielder impressed him with his athleticism and overall presence on the pitch.
He added that Moore will bring added energy, strength, and technical quality to the centre of the park, and expressed enthusiasm about integrating the young player into the squad over the coming weeks.
