VfB Stuttgart allow Eliot Bujupi to leave for Westerlo – Romano..
Eliot Bujupi is set to continue his career in Belgium, as VfB Stuttgart have agreed to let the young striker move to KVC Westerlo, according to top transfer source Fabrizio Romano. The 19-year-old has already given the green light to the move, with both clubs reaching an agreement over the transfer.
Bujupi, a German-Kosovar talent, has been part of Stuttgart’s youth system since 2017. This season, he has been playing for the club’s U21 side in the 3. Liga, but has not made a single competitive appearance for the senior team.
With limited prospects of breaking into Stuttgart’s first team, the forward is now heading abroad in search of opportunities. Westerlo initially targeted Dante Vanzeir, but KAA Gent refused to let him go, leading the Belgian side to turn to Bujupi as an alternative reinforcement for their attack.
For Bujupi, the transfer marks the beginning of a new chapter, giving him the chance to develop in the Belgian Pro League and prove his potential at senior level
