Leeds United have endured an inconsistent Premier League campaign so far, currently sitting 15th in the table. They are just three points clear of the relegation zone with only eight matches left to play, and their recent form has been worrying, having gone five league games without a win.
Despite this uncertainty, the club is already preparing for the summer transfer window as though they will remain in the top flight. Manager Daniel Farke is believed to be keen on strengthening his attacking options, with the signing of a new striker seen as a key priority.
Agyemang, who joined the Championship side from MLS outfit Charlotte FC last summer, has impressed in his debut season, registering ten goals and three assists in 35 league appearances. His strong performances have not gone unnoticed, attracting interest from several Premier League teams.
Among those reportedly keen are Wolves, who are considering building their future attack around the 25-year-old amid fears of relegation. However, Leeds are also firmly in the race and are not discouraged by his reported £20 million valuation.
During the January transfer window, Leeds were said to have made an initial approach for Agyemang as they considered potential replacements for Joel Piroe. However, no deal materialised and the club chose not to bring in any new attacking reinforcements at the time.
