The player attracting attention is 21-year-old winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, a promising English talent capable of operating on either flank.
Having progressed through Arsenal’s academy system, Cozier-Duberry featured in the Gunners’ side that suffered a 5-1 defeat to West Ham in the 2023 FA Youth Cup final.
He departed Arsenal in the summer of 2024 to join Brighton and has since gained valuable experience through loan spells with Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers.
The youngster enjoyed an impressive campaign at Bolton last season, contributing eight goals and 12 assists in 34 appearances as the club secured promotion from League One. He also played a key role in the play-off final, providing an assist during Bolton’s convincing 4-1 win over Stockport County.
Back at Brighton, reports suggest that Nuno Espírito Santo’s team are monitoring Cozier-Duberry’s situation, although it remains unclear whether any move would be on a loan basis or a permanent transfer.
With two years remaining on his contract, the winger has held discussions over an extension with Brighton, but is reportedly keen to assess all available opportunities before making a decision.
A switch to the London Stadium could prove attractive for the England youth international, who has represented his country 23 times at youth level.
Should Crysencio Summerville leave West Ham this summer, Cozier-Duberry could emerge as an exciting replacement, bringing creativity, pace and attacking threat to the squad.
Brighton are understood to value the winger highly, while West Ham’s long-standing interest could make negotiations challenging. Nevertheless, Cozier-Duberry’s potential suggests he could become an important asset if a transfer materialises this summer.
