Oliver Glasner has revealed that even a staggering £13 million-per-year salary would never have been enough to make him leave Crystal Palace for money alone. The Austrian manager described Selhurst Park as his true football home, insisting that his time with the Eagles brought him immense fulfilment and personal achievement.
“I felt I had accomplished a special level here, and fulfilment was all I ever wanted at Palace,” Glasner said. “I love Crystal Palace, and it will always be my home. I look forward to returning one day.”
While admitting that embracing a new challenge was the best decision for himself and his family, Glasner stressed that his bond with Palace will never fade. He believes the club has the ambition to conquer English football and make a lasting impact across Europe, expressing confidence that Crystal Palace’s brightest days are still ahead.
