Eastleigh have secured the services of young Southampton defender Jayden Moore on a loan deal that will keep him at the club until the conclusion of the current season.
Moore, who is 19 years old, makes the move from Southampton’s Under-21 setup, where he has already built up a solid amount of experience. During his time with the youth side, he featured in 57 matches, highlighting both his consistency and importance within the squad at that level.
Although he is yet to make a senior appearance, Moore has been on the fringes of Southampton’s first team. Notably, he was included on the bench towards the end of the 2024–25 Premier League campaign, an indication of how highly he is regarded by the club.
His switch to Eastleigh offers him an opportunity to gain valuable first-team experience in a competitive environment. He may not have to wait long to make his debut either, as he could be involved immediately when Eastleigh take on Sutton in their National League fixture on Tuesday.
