Brighton’s record signing Luka Vuskovic is eager to make an immediate impression in his debut season with the club.
The 19-year-old Croatian international completed a £50 million move from Tottenham and is expected to play a key role as Brighton compete in both the Premier League and the UEFA Conference League this season.
Vuskovic revealed that Brighton was always his preferred destination despite interest from several other clubs.
“There were plenty of calls from other teams, but once I spoke to the manager, my decision was made. It was always going to be Brighton,” he said.
He also expressed his excitement about playing in England, adding: “The Premier League is undoubtedly one of the best leagues in the world, and I really believe in the project the club is building here.”
