Brighton & Hove Albion will discover their opponents for the UEFA Conference League play-off round when the draw takes place in Nyon, Switzerland, at 1:00pm BST on Monday, August 3.
After finishing eighth in the Premier League last season, the Seagulls secured a place in Europe’s third-tier club competition and will begin their campaign at the play-off stage. The two-legged ties are scheduled for August 20 and August 27, with the winners advancing to the UEFA Conference League league phase.
The draw is split into two sections: the Champions Path and the Main Path. Brighton are in the Main Path, where 38 teams and pairings have been divided into four groups by UEFA. Fabian Hürzeler’s side have been placed in Group 2 and are listed as ball number four.
As one of the seeded teams in their group, Brighton will face an unseeded club or pairing. Their possible opponents are:
– HNK Rijeka (Croatia) or Ilves Tampere (Finland)
– CFR Cluj (Romania) or Tromsø (Norway)
– Hibernian (Scotland) or KF Shkëndija (North Macedonia)
– Ferencváros (Hungary) or Górnik Zabrze (Poland)
– FK Auda (Latvia) or Dinamo City (Albania)
The draw will be broadcast live on TNT Sports, while Brighton will also confirm their play-off opponents across the club’s official channels as soon as the draw is completed.
