Richardson Joins North Ferriby on Loan
Rotherham United have confirmed that young midfielder Kane Richardson has joined North Ferriby on a one-month youth loan, with the move awaiting ratification from the EFL and FA.
The temporary switch will give Richardson another valuable opportunity to gain experience in senior football. The midfielder has previously spent time away from AESSEAL New York Stadium, featuring for Brighouse Town during several loan spells last season.
Richardson made his first-team debut for the Millers in the Vertu Trophy against Newcastle United U21s in October 2024, helping Rotherham secure a 3-1 victory. Since then, he has continued to develop and was also involved with the senior squad during Rotherham’s pre-season preparations.
While at North Ferriby, Richardson’s development will be closely monitored by first-team coach Richard Wood and the wider coaching staff at Roundwood. The youngster will continue to train with Rotherham alongside his commitments with the Northern Premier League East Division side.
Rotherham United have wished Richardson all the best as he begins his latest loan spell and looks to gain further valuable experience with North Ferriby.
