Dispute at Molineux Stadium as Rob Edwards warns not to sell Vítor Pereira’s Prodigy as Management declared “UNTOUCHABLE”

Tensions are bubbling behind the scenes at Molineux as Wolverhampton Wanderers find themselves caught in a growing internal power struggle. Head coach Rob Edwards has reportedly issued a firm warning to the club’s hierarchy: selling highly rated youngster David Møller Wolfe could have serious consequences — including his own future at the club.

Wolfe, widely regarded as one of Vítor Pereira’s most promising signings during his short spell in charge, has attracted interest from several European sides after an impressive run of performances. However, Edwards sees the Norwegian talent as central to his rebuilding plans and is said to be “deeply frustrated” that the board are even entertaining offers.

Interim chairman Nathan Shi added fuel to the fire with a blunt statement earlier this week, confirming that “no player is untouchable” as Wolves look to balance finances and reshape the squad. The remark has not gone down well with Edwards, who believes selling emerging core players would send the wrong message to both fans and the dressing room.

Sources close to the club suggest the situation has escalated into a power standoff — recruitment strategy versus managerial authority. Supporters, already uneasy about recent instability, now fear another potential upheaval.

With the transfer window heating up, Wolves face a defining decision: back their manager’s vision, or risk yet another reset.
