Stoke City winger Million Manhoef is being reported as a potential target for a summer transfer, with Coventry City among the clubs showing interest ahead of what is expected to be a very active transfer window for Stoke.
Manhoef has spent around two and a half seasons at Stoke City since arriving from Vitesse Arnhem during the January 2024 transfer window. During his time at the club, the 24-year-old has demonstrated flashes of his attacking quality and ability to influence matches. He has recorded 18 goals across 73 starting appearances, along with 26 substitute appearances. Although he is primarily deployed as a right winger, he has also occasionally been used in a central attacking midfield role (number 10), depending on tactical needs under manager Mark Robins.
The Dutch-born forward, formerly an under-21 international for the Netherlands, is recognised for his quick dribbling, close ball control, and tendency to cut inside from wide positions to create scoring opportunities.
As Stoke City prepare for a busy summer involving both incoming and outgoing transfers at the bet365 Stadium, the club faces a decision over Manhoef’s future—whether to retain him as a key attacking player or consider selling him to generate funds for squad rebuilding.
Reports suggest that Ajax are monitoring him as a possible replacement for Mike Godts, who himself is attracting interest from major European clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona, RB Leipzig, and Atlético Madrid.
Other clubs are also said to be tracking Manhoef. Wolves are reportedly interested following their relegation from the Premier League, while Coventry City—recently strengthened by promotion and improved financial resources—are also said to be considering him as part of their squad strengthening plans for their return to top-flight competition.
Overall, Manhoef’s situation appears uncertain, with multiple clubs linked and Stoke City expected to make a strategic decision regarding whether to keep or sell him during the upcoming transfer window.
